We face critical challenges in translating the benefits of biomedical discovery and clinical research into improvements in clinical care and public health, and in ensuring that marginalized populations benefit equally. Addressing these challenges is essential to achieving health equity.
Implementation science offers a range of methods and approaches to achieve better health outcomes through increased translation of best practices. We are leaders in applying implementation science tools to meet the challenges of inequitable health and health care. The PRISE Center partners with leaders to conduct implementation science-based research focused on achieving health equity.
